How Does This Work?
The booking process and overall system is very easy and efficient. So, for you to get a better feel about how we do things at Timber Tenders here is a step-by-step process we take to make sure you get the best care for your home while you're away.
Process
Step 1:
Booking a Session
In this step you will book a session either through email (timbertenders@gmail.com), text message (804-988-1328), or book online at timbertenders.com. Which ever way you choose to book you will get a confirmation or a few other dates close to those you wish if my schedule doesn't line up.
Step 2:
Talking Stage
In this step once the session is confirmed then we begin to talk more into the details of the booking and any knowledge I should have about the task at hand. In this stage we discuss topics like, cost, special instructions, directions for animals or plants, anything that helps me gain a better understanding of what will make the caretaking perfect for you. Usually I like to arrange a meet up at your house to get a feel for the place and connect names with things, this gives me an opportunity to take notes and really learn more in details about the job. If we cannot arrange a meet up time before the booking that is totally fine, the meet-up is not a requirement it is just preferred. The meet-up most likely wouldn't happen if I have already had a meet-up with you because I keep my notes on every job or we couldn't find a time or date that worked.
Step 3:
Doing The Job
After we have discussed everything and sorted through my questions then I will begin on the scheduled day to look after your home while you are away. During this time I may communicate to you any updates that pop up, things like how your pet is doing, a plant fell over and the pot broke, your package never showed up, things like that. The check-up message for pets usually will come halfway through the days scheduled.
Step 4:
After The Job
After the job is finished and I leave from your home on the final day I will usually send you a thank you message and give some information about the days I visited your home. During the time I am at your house I may take photos to add to the gallery so your home, pets, or plants may pop up in there!
